Join us for three nights, March 26-28, at the St. Joseph Campus as we reflect on what it means to be a disciple, how we can live our prayer throughout our daily lives and how the Eucharist calls us to go forth as the Body of Christ present in our world today.
Our mission will include common prayer and
Scripture reading, a reflection by our mission
presenter, and a communal ritual. Fellowship
and refreshments will follow each night in Fr.
Williams Hall.
Our mission presenter this year is Sr. Janet Schaeffler, OP, who is known throughout the United States for her ministry in catechesis and adult faith formation. The past Director of Adult Faith Formation for the Archdiocese of Detroit and officer of the National Conference of Catechetical Leadership, Sr. Janet now gives retreats and parish missions on discipleship and evangelization. Thank you to everyone who has made a gift or pledge commitment to our Diocesan Services Appeal. Our gifts to DSA enable our diocese to provide services crucial to our parish. The programs and services funded by DSA offer direct assistance to individuals and families, and to parishes, schools, and Catholic Charities agencies. A “Sacrifice of Thanksgiving” is occurring in the Church right now through our contributions to DSA helping to support dozens of ongoing ministries.
If you have not yet made a gift or a pledge, I invite you to do so today. Gift envelopes are available in church or the parish office. Or you may submit your gift online at www.dioceseoflansing.org/appeal. Your DSA gift will support the vital services and ministries that help bring the love of Christ to all we encounter.
