If you've been at St. Elizabeth for a while, you have probably heard about the Core Team. But who are they and what do they do?
The Core Team is a group of upperclassman high school leaders who have been selected to help grow the youth ministry program here at St. Elizabeth from the ground level. They help to organize and lead events such as youth group sessions, lock-ins, faith formation classes, and retreats. They are also instrumental in helping with mission trips, leading the evening devotional sessions.
Being a part of the Core Team is a commitment in all senses of the word. Core Team members are expected to lead their peers by example both in and out of Church. They also must attend training on event planning, group dynamics and more.
