The Church strongly recommends that the faithful make a good confession before the Christmas celebration. In Advent, there will be Communal Penance Services occuring throughout the Tecumseh/Clinton area, allowing you to receive the Sacrament of Confession with many fellow Catholics.

A Communal Penance Service consists of liturgical music, scripture reading, a homily, time for individal prayer, and private confession with a priest. 

Times and locations of Communal Penance Services in our Vicariate are:

December 6th - 7:00 PM - Light of Christ, Deerfield
December 11th - 7:00 PM - St. Elizabeth, Tecumseh
December 13th - 6:30 PM - St. Mary on the Lake, Manitou Beach
December 14th - 7:00 PM - St. Anthony, Hillsdale
December 15th - 7:00 PM - St. Joseph Shrine, Brooklyn
December 19th - 7:00 PM - St. Mary, Adrian
December 20th - 7:00 PM - St. Joseph, Adrian

Please join us for one of these services. The graces received in Reconcilliation truly are a blessing, and will help prepare you to receive Jesus Christ into your heart on Christmas.
